Some ideas from Christian customs help us innovate during Lent.
During Holy Week the Catholics made special meals, especially on Good Friday, when restrictions on religion by abstinence and fasting meat is enacted. For many, this practice has not weakened with the passage of time but has become a complication when preparing the dishes and although each country has different culinary traditions here we take a few recipes to implement.
For starters, cannelloni with spinach and mozzarella are an ideal choice. While you can buy the dough prepared for wet and dry use, see the filling. To do this we will use 4 cups of spinach, 300 g of grated mozzarella, 1 onion, olives, parmesan cheese and 1 tomato, thereby condimentaremos prepare a mixture with salt, oregano, olive oil, garlic and pepper. Then we place them inside the dough and cover everything with ketchup.
Another option is salmon rolls, zucchini and ginger, for which we use 12 thin slices of salmon, seven zucchini, chopped onion, a little grated ginger, a tablespoon of parsley, lemon zest, olive oil, salt, pepper and lettuce. The julienned zucchini mix it with ginger, parsley, chives and lemon zest, add olive oil and seasonings. We extend over fish and coil preparation, place it in a pan and serve on lettuce. Delicious!
